Kelsey Steeves (b. 1996 Maple Ridge, British Columbia) grew up in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia and received a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art & Design in 2023. Previously a social worker, she now works across the lower mainland as an artist and arts educator having showcased work in galleries including OHCE-ECHO (Vancouver, BC), The Evergreen Cultural Centre (Coquitlam, BC), Seymour Art Gallery (North Vancouver, BC), and Slice of Life Gallery (Vancouver, BC). She currently works as a visual arts instructor for the City of New Westminster and the City of Burnaby, and was previously an Art & Design faculty member at Arts Umbrella (Vancouver, BC).
