Bio

Hello!

I’m an interdisciplinary artist who works with painting, sculpture, and installation. I used to be a social worker, now I investigate the role of structural socioeconomic inequalities on identity and lived experience. I’m also a big fan of squares. I draw from my lived experiences of poverty, mental illness, and intergenerational trauma and try to create moments of joy or at least perseverance.

In my spare time I take on many secret projects including growing tomatoes indoors and teaching art to children.

I work across the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations, and on the unceded land of the Halkomelem speaking peoples.
